What is Fee Defaulter?
Quick definition: A student whose fees are overdue beyond the institute's grace period, typically requiring follow-up via SMS, calls, or sometimes service suspension.
A fee defaulter is a student whose fee instalment is past its due date plus the institute's grace period (typically 7-15 days). Coach Sutra automatically flags defaulters, sends parent SMS/WhatsApp reminders on a configurable cadence, applies late fees per your policy, and surfaces a "Defaulter List" to the front-desk admin daily. For severe cases, the system can also suspend access to the student app or live classes until dues are cleared.
