What is Admission Number?

Quick definition: A unique identifier assigned to a student at the time of admission to track their academic journey across the institute.

An admission number (also called enrolment number, registration number, or student ID) is a unique alphanumeric code assigned to each student when they first enrol in an institute. In Coach Sutra, admission numbers are auto-generated based on a configurable pattern (e.g., ADM-2026-0001) or imported from your existing system. They link a student's identity across attendance, fees, exams, library, transport, and hostel modules so every record stays attached to the right student.
