Coach Sutra was founded after witnessing first-hand the operational chaos at a mid-sized coaching centre — 600 students, 15 faculty members, and a single coordinator managing everything through WhatsApp groups and 12 different Excel files.
Fee collection happened via cash and bank transfers tracked in a register. Attendance was marked in physical books that nobody analysed. Exam results took 4-5 days to publish. Parents called constantly asking for information that nobody had time to look up. And every few months, a laptop crash would destroy weeks of data.
We spent 18 months talking to over 200 coaching centre directors, school principals, and teachers across India. We asked them what their biggest operational pain points were, what they had tried before, and what their ideal solution looked like. Then we built it.
